The John Spicknall Jazz Quartet will present a program of Jazz Standards and Great American Songbook repertoire. The quartet consists of saxophonist Randy Salman, pianist John Spicknall, bassist Joe Deal and drummer Chris Parker. These musicians began working on arrangements of the “Great American Song Book” repertory and jazz standards more than ten years ago; and it continues to grow and develop. The band has backed up guest musicians at ISU including performances with Bobby Shew, Jim Ketch, and Jim Perry.
